Portfolio in Drupal
My old portfolio site built in Drupal 7. It was a single page site with parallax scrolling. When you clicked on a menu item it would scroll down to that section of the page. When it was built it was a fun build, but I have kept it far to long. I loved the large images, the animated features and all the bells and whistles. But it was time to move on to my current site.

Drupal Website
New branding promoted for a redesign of the Bolton & Menk, Inc website. Working with an internal team of Marketing and Designers, we came up with a design that is more modern and cleaner. We also needed to keep data in one location rather than having staff enter the same information in multiple systems. The new site built using Drupal 7 and connecting to an external CRM database to gather content about projects and staff members reduces the time spent duplicating efforts. It reduced the number of content types and made a dated dynamic site even more dynamic.

Portfolio in Wordpress
This collaborative effort with the help of creative expert Alissa Nogle was launched December 2016. Alissa wanted a professional portfolio website to show potential employers’ examples of her work. She also wanted it to be different than the typical portfolio website. She wanted to be able to easily add her own content going forward and something that was easily maintainable, so we choose to go with WordPress since she had some familiarity with the admin side of things.

Halloween Website
Halloween website using Luminate Online
With the help of David Aman who worked on creative and other supportive staff members in marketing, a three-month effort took Goodwill Easter-Seals Minnesota tired Halloween site from boring to amazing! We took an old school look and feel and modernized it to be responsive, interactive and engaging. I am using HTML5 and javascript to create the photo album and parallax background. Data-attributes are used to parse out where the content goes. This was a fun project to work on and leaps and bounds forward in the non-profit web world.

Annual Report
Goodwill Easter-Seals Minnesota 2014 Annual Report
With only one week to get the Annual Report done at a new job, I had to make some cuts on some amazing things I wanted to accomplish on this task. The report was all hand coded HTML with using the animate.css along with the viewport script added to give a little pop to the report as you scroll. Another improvement was making the report responsive which it had not been in the past.

Goodwill-Easter Seals
Non-Responsive to Responsive Design in Luminate Online
With the design help from David Aman and Alissa Nogle, and a Google requirement to make sites mobile friendly, I was tasked to make the Goodwill Easter-Seals Minnesota site mobile friendly in a hurry. We began an effort into making an outdated non-responsive website into a responsive site with a more modern look for the homepage. With a short turnaround time we could not focus all the pages of this content heavy website, but it was a huge step in the right direction.

Midwest Ribfest
Hungry for ribs? This site was created for people to learn and find out information about a favorite summer activity of rib fest. With the help of a designer and a copywriter I was able to take their concepts and turn them into an interactive one-page responsive style design. We wanted to get the information out quickly and easily and get people excited to attend one of the many amazing summer events in Minnesota.

LIttle Six
For this project I converted a static HTML website and turned it into a responsive more interactive site.

Mystic Lake
A very large and popular site was upgraded from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7 which was a large undertaking. I did not do this alone, but with the help of a fellow developer we were able to migrate over thousands of users and data from the old database structure to the new one. We also changed the look and the feel to go with the new branding. Currently with it being outdated, we are in the process of revamping the site for a total make over with the new brand.
